Connect your existing domain name

Point your current domain name at your new Integer website!

Updated over a week ago

If you already own a domain name, you can make a simple change at your domain name registrar to connect your domain with your Practice Panda website. If you aren't sure how to make these changes, contact your current domain registrar's support team.

  1. Click on the Domain Name link in the Features section of the Practice Panda member area.

2. Then click on "Yes" under "Do you already own a domain name?"

3. Put in the domain name you own and would like to connect and click "Confirm"

4. Check the spelling and make sure it is correct and then click "Confirm".

5. Your domain is now added to your Practice Panda account. Now you will need to go to your domain registrar or where you manage your domain name settings at, and point your domain to your Practice Panda website.

Please follow steps 1 - 3 on the screen shown below to connect your domain.

Step 3 on this screen gives you the A record you need to set up in order to have your domain connect to your Practice Panda site.

Note: Be sure to make these changes (or have your domain registrar make them for you) to your Domain Name Settings (DNS) or your website will not be accessible.

You may need to contact your current domain registrar to ask how to access the Domain Name Settings (DNS) for your domain name. If your provider does not allow you to make these changes, or you would like Integer to manage your domain, follow the instructions here to request a domain transfer.

  1. At your domain's current registrar, navigate to the page to edit its DNS settings. Contact their support if you are unsure where to make these changes.

  2. If you have any existing "A" records for Host "@" or blank, delete the records.

  3. Add the following records:

Record Type

Host

Value

"A" record

@ or blank
